The Altruist -- Spare Change Productions and StarCCA present a contemporary dark comedy by Nicky Silver, exploring the “social condition that was implied by the shabby protesting in Forsyth Park” during the G8 Summit. July 15-17 at

8 p.m. at the Starland Center of Contemporary Art, 2428 Bull St.

Admission is $3. Not intended for children.


‘Sense of Otherness’ -- SCAD presents this mixed media exhibition exploring the issues of migration and hybrid culture in contemporary Asian-American art, July 15-Aug. 18, at Pinnacle Gallery, 320 E. Liberty St. Featured on the college’s monthly gallery hop, Friday, Aug. 6, 5-7 p.m. Free and open to the public.


Linda Lindeborg -- Hospice Savannah will showcase Lindeborg's work July 1-30 at the Hospice Savannah Art Gallery, located at Hospice House, 1352 Eisenhower Dr. Meet the artist at the opening reception, Thursday, July 8 from 5:30 -8 at the gallery.

‘CURV-ITURE: Studio Furniture Celebrates the Curve’ -- through Aug. 1, at Red Gallery, 201 E. Broughton St. This juried exhibition features studio furniture in all media that incorporates the use of the curve as a design element. This exhibition will be included in SCAD’s monthly gallery hop, Friday, July 9, 5-7 p.m. Free and open to the public.


Bernard D’Andrea: Five Decades of Evolution -- The Telfair Museum of Art will host a major exhibition of works by New York painter/illustrator, and long-time Hilton Head Island resident, Bernard D’Andrea from June 30 through Sept. 5.
