‘Natalie Bray: Ritual Interiors’ -- The Savannah College of Art and Design presents this photography exhibition that explores spaces of community ritual, July 20-Aug. 12, at Orleans Gallery, 201 Barnard St. The exhibition is featured on the college’s monthly gallery hop Friday, Aug. 6. Both the exhibition and gallery hop are free and open to the public.

‘Wet S.P.A.C.E.’ -- Friday, August 6, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Gallery S.P.A.C.E., 9 West Henry St. Nine one-week Art Camp sessions were held at the City's Department of Cultural Affairs between July and August for ages 4-14. Students studied the fundamentals of 2 and 3-dimensional design, while exploring ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, movie-making, and dramatics. Each session featured the making of a mini-movie starring camp participants. The movie premieres will also be shown at the August 6 opening reception.

‘Blindfolded History’ -- An installation by Rana Bishara, through August 16 at the Bergen Hall Gallery, 101 MLK Jr. Blvd. Featured as part of the SCAD gallery hop on August 6 from 5-7 p.m.

'Interchangable Numbers' -- Paintings and 0rints by Kevin Orlosky through July 29 at Gallery Espresso, 234 Bull Street. Reception: Thursday, July 15, 6-8 p.m.

‘Evolution’ -- A group show of 26 tattoo artists exploring evolution in several different mediums. Starland Center of Contemporary Art (StarCCA) 2428 Bull St. Exhibit runs July 2-30. Gallery hrs:Tue-Sat 11-5 pm. Free and open to the public.

‘It’s On!…2004’ -- SCAD presents a summer festival featuring moving image work by students and faculty. Free and open to the public. Through Aug. 13 at La Galerie Bleue inside Montgomery Hall, 3515 Montgomery St.

'From Separate Corners' -- Pen and inks by Mike Rios, June 28-July 28 at the StarLander CoffeeHouse and Gallery 11 East 41st Street.

‘Sense of Otherness’ -- SCAD presents this mixed media exhibition exploring the issues of migration and hybrid culture in contemporary Asian-American art, July 15-Aug. 18, at Pinnacle Gallery, 320 E. Liberty St. Featured on the college’s monthly gallery hop, Friday, Aug. 6, 5-7 p.m. Free and open to the public.

Linda Lindeborg -- Hospice Savannah will showcase Lindeborg's work July 1-30 at the Hospice Savannah Art Gallery, located at Hospice House, 1352 Eisenhower Dr.

Lilly Harms -- The Downtown Athletic Club Gallery at One East Broughton Street will feature works in oil by Lilly Harms through August 1.

The Right to Bare Arms ....and Shoulders, Legs, Torsos, etc. -- An exhibit of figurative art by members of The Art School. At Sentient Bean July 1-31.

‘The Other Savannah’ -- New photography by Kirk Witte is featured at Alvida Art Gallery, 7303 Abercorn St. one block south of Eisenhower. Gallery hours are Mon–Thur, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Fri–Sat, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Call 355-5656.

JEA Artist of the Month --
Margie Rose's paintings will be for sale and for viewing from July 1- 31 at the JEA at 5111 Abercorn Street.

‘CURV-ITURE: Studio Furniture Celebrates the Curve’ -- through Aug. 1, at Red Gallery, 201 E. Broughton St. This juried exhibition features studio furniture in all media that incorporates the use of the curve as a design element.

Bernard D’Andrea: Five Decades of Evolution -- The Telfair Museum of Art will host a major exhibition of works by New York painter/illustrator, and long-time Hilton Head Island resident, Bernard D’Andrea from June 30 through Sept. 5.
