Southern Montessori Academy has prepared the classroom for your child
to learn to love learning and become a responsible and caring individual in
our society. It is our intention to communicate openly with parents and

We are a State Licensed child care with a self funded pre K
We are open from 7:00am until 6:00pm Monday through Friday
Southern Montessori Academy's classrooms are equipped with a
wide range of books, teacher made materials and manipulative
learning tools which are the hallmark of Montessori's hands-on
learning philosophy
We provide services for children 6 weeks to 6 years in our school
program
Childcare is from ages 6 weeks up to 3 years
Pre K is from 3 years to 6 years with a Montessori Curriculum.

The Pre K is on the same campus in a separate building from the
younger children

Breakfast is served from 7:00am until 8:15am and the children have

until 8:30am to finish

A healthy hot lunch is provided daily
An afternoon snack is provided
Southern Montessori Academy provides cots and mats, sheets and

blankets for all children in the facility

When the child is ready we will work with the parents on

potty training

All teachers in the Academy are or are being Montessori trained
Security cameras in all classrooms
