All boy/all girl offers a dreamy take on orchestral pop with high drama and engrossing lyricism. With experimental edges and an indie-rock backbone, the completely one-of-a-kind sound has something for everyone in its arrangements of vocals, ukulele, guitars, viola, cello, bass, keyboards, and drums.
The band released the full-length album Slagroom in 2016. Written and recorded in the basement of a pawn shop on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, it’s an immersive album with bends and turns that will excite fans of unpredictable pop. All boy/all girl is currently located in New York City and will be relocating to Philadelphia this month.
They’re joined by Daily Exercise, the musical project of Savannah’s Jeff Alvarez, and Charleston lo-fi surf rock band Beach Sex.
