KICK OFF December with a heavy homecoming show. Any chance to catch Savannah’s swamp metal trio Black Tusk right here at home is worth doing, particularly while the band works on big plans for 2018.

Miami sludge outfit Crud returns for the event. Formed in 2015 by former Savannahian Mariel Zayas-Bazan (perhaps you remember her drumming in Sauna Heat?) and bassist Julie Mejia, the two-piece expanded into a foursome with the addition of guitarist Kris Garcia and vocalist Carl McNew. The band released a full-length album, Resin, in 2016.

A.M. Rodriguez, who honed his country/Piedmont blues sound on The Jinx stage, returns to join the bill along with singer-songwriter Abe Partridge.

Friday, December 1, doors at 9 p.m., show at 10 p.m., $10, 21+
