Solid songwriting, blazing fiddles, jangling banjos and tight harmonies are the hallmarks of this rockin’, bluegrass-meets-Irish-folk band.

From Nelson County, Virginia, founding members Koda Kerl and Marie Borgman have deep musical roots that reach to the way back when they were in grade school together. They’ve been doing what they do for a good while, and that comes through in the complexity and diversity of the band’s sound and live delivery. Expect an up-tempo, foot-stompin’, bourbon drinkin’ good time with some reflective ballads of love and loss thrown in the mix as well. But mostly Chamomile and Whiskey is rollicking, white lightning-inspired fun.

The six-piece is currently in the middle of an East Coast summer tour supporting their second studio album Sweet Afton (2017).
