Philadelphia’s Dry Reef has been charging along for many years, releasing a string of albums and singles that fuse surf rock, reggae and indie rock. Their influences range from Dr. Dog to Talking Heads, and it’s apparent when you listen to them that they’re students of music and aren’t easily defined by one genre or sound. They’re coming to town with their catalog of songs for a show at Congress Street Social Club.
