Local jazz pianist Eric Jones celebrates the release of his album, Azubuike, with a two-night sting at Good Times Jazz. The album is beautifully recorded and full of imaginative melodies that stretch the limits of what jazz is supposed to sound like. There are elements of progressive music in the synth lines of the album’s opening song, and some standout groove-heavy drumming on “Summer Nights.” Don’t miss these two very special shows.
