Charleston’s Mechanical River is otherwise known as Joel Hamilton, a legend of sorts in the Charleston music scene. Hamilton’s music under the Mechanical River moniker has a lo-fi aesthetic, which is incredibly appealing on its own. It’s his brilliant folk pop songcraft, though, that makes you want to come back for more. He’ll be joined by locals Street Clothes, and New Orleans’ Conor Donohue.
