That 1 Guy @The Wormhole

Through collaborations with Buckethead and an average of 150-200 shows a year, That 1 Guy has become a favorite for a wild, one-of-a-kind live show.

Classically trained as a double bass player and educated at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Mike Silverman got his start as a progressive jazz player before creating the Magic Pipe, a seven-foot-tall instrument featuring metal, strings, and electronics, and forming the one-man band That 1 Guy.

Silverman also incorporates actual magic into his performances, creating a completely unique concert that shows off the influence of jazz, funk, and beyond. Inspired by Rush, Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, and Dr. Seuss, Silverman keeps audiences on their toes with the Magic Pipe, the Magic Boot (a cowboy boot that’s wired as a percussive instrument), and the Magic Saw, a musical saw.
