The Steel Woods offer up a unique brand of southern rock, taking equal influence from bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top as well as uniquely southern genres like gospel and R&B. The band tours relentlessly, but found time to record their sophomore album in Asheville and release it to critical acclaim. They certainly appear to be a band on the rise, and their Savannah stop will no doubt showcase that.
