Celerity, Ann Bollyn

Basement costume party featuring melodic indie rock. Locals Celerity dig The Offspring and early Nirvana. They just completed a cross-country DIY tour. Douglasville’s Ann Bollyn have swoopy haircuts and scream/sing about heartbreak and, you know, stuff. Fri., Sweet Melissa’s (Congress & Whitaker Sts.).

Eat Mo' Music

Funky, instrumental jazz quintet – and the first non-Judaic act ever to play this annual street party and tasting fair. Sun., noon, Jewish Food Fest, Forsyth Park.

“Ghost In The Post”

This music-oriented masquerade ball has been a big success the past 2 years running, and while this year’s lineup is different, the Deco vibe of this Post’s 1940s ballroom remains the same. Opening trio Silver Lining plays jazz standards and classic R & B. Headliners Gravy are an intense, art and prog-rock quintet that plays moderately abrasive, technical metal with an absurdist edge andd a theatrical stage show.
