Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Violent Crimes detectives are investigating an early morning shooting that occurred at approximately 4 a.m., May 26, in the 200 block of Avery Street.
The 17-year-old male victim was reportedly shot; however, detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The victim was transported to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds.
