Armed Robberies at Lincoln & Taylor, Whitaker & Huntingdon

At 9 pm, the police responded to Lincoln and Taylor streets on a report of an armed robbery. The victims reported walking past the three suspects and suddenly one of them ran towards them with a weapon in hand demanding their belongings. The victims complied with their demands and the suspects fled the area.

Suspects: Black male, heavy set, about 5’7” with short twists or braids, wearing a white tank top and dark pants and black bandanna over lower face armed with silver firearm, and two taller black males at about 5’9-5’10, wearing dark clothing.

At 9:15pm, the police responded to the 100 Block of W. Park Ave. on a report of an armed robbery that had occurred at Whitaker and Huntington. The victims reported walking down Whitaker when the suspect suddenly appeared, grabbing one of the victims, and demanding their belongings. That victim was able to get away. The suspect hit one of the other victims with his weapon and fled the scene after he was able to get some of the victim's belongings.

Suspect: Black male, 5'8", 230-250 pounds with short hair, wearing a blue bandanna covering nose and mouth, and carrying a large black handgun.

Detectives are investigating these incidents.
