CNT operation arrests two in Pooler for prostitution and cocaine
Two people are in custody following an operation conducted by the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team (CNT).

Wednesday afternoon Dec. 30, "CNT arrested 31-year-old Keith Baul of Savannah and 29-year-old Kathern 'Megan' Scott of North Carolina at a hotel in Pooler located along the Highway 80 and Interstate 95 coordinator," a CNT spokesman says.

"Baul and Scott were charged with multiple felonies to include the Sale of Cocaine and other drug related offenses. Scott was also charged with Prostitution and Baul was charged with Pimping, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

"An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and a vehicle were also seized in the operation. Baul and Scott are currently being held at the Chatham County Detention Center," CNT says.

Both were denied bond during their arraignment hearings.

"An undercover agent made contact with Scott who agreed to sell the agent cocaine as well as agreed to sexual acts in exchange for money. Baul was also present during the operation and took part in the overt act," CNT says.

Agents discovered Scott was also utilizing a social media site to advertise as an escort.

"Often in these types of operations, law enforcement finds the females are not local and only spend a short period of time in the area. These activities are dangerous in that the women are often robbed and/or they bait others into being robbed. Also controlled substances are regularly found," according to CNT.
