People who live and work in Chatham County have two opportunities coming up to have Coffee with a Cop, hosted by the Chatham County Police Department.
"People are encouraged to drop by the events to have a conversation and ask questions of the officers and command staff members who will be there," a County spokesperson says.
"Coffee with a Cop is an informal gathering with no agenda or format, but it is a great opportunity for citizens to meet the police officers who work in their area and share any concerns they may have."
Coffee with a Cop Schedule:
Saturday, July 27, 8-10 a.m. at Glo’s Coffee Corner, 1040 King George Boulevard
Monday, July 29, 8-10 a.m., Cutter’s Point Coffee, 7360 Skidaway Road
