Eight arrested on drug charges at Widespread Panic show
CNT says these balloons were used to huff nitrous oxide.
"Nearly a dozen people are facing felony drug charges following an undercover drug operation at a Savannah concert," says a spokesperson for the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team (CNT).

CNT agents, "along with agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration, attended the Widespread Panic concert held at the Savannah Civic Center Friday night," the CNT spokesperson says.

"Undercover agents made purchases of various forms of controlled substances including heroin and LSD. Agents also seized a cylinder containing nitrous oxide after observing persons purchasing balloons filled with nitrous."

Eight people were arrested on felony drug charges and transported to the Chatham County Detention Center. U.S. currency and a vehicle were also seized during the operation.
