Four shot in three days

Savannah Metro Police are investigating four shootings that took place Thursday and Saturday.

Alvonte Mack, 17, has been charged with shooting Benjamin Webber, 16, on the 2200 block of Hawthorne Street on Thursday afternoon. Mack has turned himself in to police to face the charges against him.

Webber is hospitalized with life-threating injuries at Memorial University Medical Center.

Officers responded to Seiler Avenue at Live Oak Street at 5:47 p.m. Thursday after they were advised that a shooting victim had been transported from that area by private vehicle to Memorial University Medical Center.

Darnell Eugene Fennell, 30, of a West 55th Street address, was being treated for multiple wounds that were not considered life-threatening.

On Saturday night, Kevin Milton, 47, was shot after he was involved in a confrontation with someone in a vehicle at Carolan and Damon streets about 9:30 p.m. 

John Bailey, 16, was discovered with a gunshot wound near East Oglethorpe Avenue and Wilder Street about 10:20 p.m. Saturday. 

Milton and Bailey were transported to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment.
