SCAD has announced that two-time Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank will address the Class of 2018 as SCAD Savannah’s distinguished guest speaker on Friday, June 1.
"The university will honor and celebrate graduates during two commencement ceremonies to accommodate the largest graduating class in the university's history," a SCAD spokesperson says.
Presidential Conferment of Degrees ceremony will take places at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center. Swank will address graduates at both ceremonies.
