Dollhouse Productions announces the Judges Panel for Jonathan Toubin’s Soul Clap and Dance Off, happening Saturday May 10.
The dance contest will begin at midnight and will last about 30 minutes followed by more soul music and dancing from Toubin.
Space for the contest is limited to the first 50 attendees who get their numbers when Toubin announces its time for the Dance Off just before midnight.
Soul Clap Savannah’s judges include Wes Daniel (HangFire Bar), Beth Vantosh, (Vantosh Commercial Group) Clara Fishel, Jane Fishel, Kayne Lanahan (Savannah Stopover Music Festival), and Roberto Leoci (Leoci’s Trattoria/Pacci Italian Kitchen and Bar).
Wes Daniel and Ikeda Feingold: Wes Daniel is owner of downtown’s HangFire Bar, a favorite amongst SCAD students and local and touring indie acts.
Clara and Jane Fishel: Before its recent closing, The Sparetime, created by the Fishel sisters, was THE hangout spot for the best-dressed and elite party animals.
Beth Vantosh: Taking on projects such as One West Victory, and Black Orchid Tattoo, Beth relocated from New York and started a family here with her English husband and son Max.
Kayne Lanahan: Creator of the Savannah Stopover Music Festival and Revival Fest, and CEO of MusicFile Productions, Kayne has been bringing the best up-and-coming acts and music legends to the scene for the past several years.
Roberto Leoci: Named “Best Chef” by the readers of Connect Savannah, and one of America’s top chefs by Best Chefs America Guide, Leoci is a household name in Savannah. His first restaurant Leoci’s Trattoria opened in 2009. He is opening a second restaurant on Bay Street in May, Pacci Italian Kitchen and Bar.
