It’s a triumvirate of talent. The Savannah Music Festival, Savannah VOICE Festival, and Savannah Philharmonic have announced a unique partnership for 2015. Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Suor Angelica – the first two complete operas in the history of the SMF - will be presented March 20 and 22, 2015 at the Lucas Theatre for the Arts.

The operas will be conducted by Eugene Kohn, with baritone Mark Delavan and soprano Veronica Villaroel in the title roles, and directed by Joachim Schamberger.

Founded by husband-and-wife opera singers Sherill Milnes and Maria Zouves, the Savannah VOICE FESTIVAL is an annual two-week celebration of opera, now in its second year. Mozart’s Don Giovanni was presented in concert earlier this week, as part of the 2014 festival.

Opera tickets go on sale Nov. 6, with the rest of the SMF 2015 schedule.
