Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are investigating a triple shooting, including a fatal self-inflicted wound, after a domestic incident Tuesday night.
John Richard “Rick” Morris, 41, died at Memorial University Medical Center where he was transported with a self-inflicted gunshot wound after he shot two women at the Georgetown Crossing Apartments on the 1000 block of King George Boulevard.
Mary Cronk, 25, and Heather Gale, 25, also were transported to Memorial with gunshot wounds. Cronk was listed in critical condition. Gale was listed as stable.
"All three participants worked together and lived in the apartment complex. Cronk had ended her relationship with Morris just prior to the incident," police say.
