Law enforcement officers made three misdemeanor arrests in the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day “Festival Zone” Thursday night, according to an SCMPD spokesperson.
"Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department officers arrested two people in the City Market area. One person was arrested for criminal trespass when they refused to leave a bar. A second person was arrested for simple battery; that individual was intoxicated and kicked an officer," police report.
An agent with the Alcohol & Tobacco Division of the Georgia Department of Revenue arrested a third individual for underage drinking, police say.
