Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting outside of a residence on Kandlewood Drive near Cindy Avenue that injured an unidentified male on April 28.
Metro officers responded to the scene finding the victim just after 5 a.m. The critically injured victim was transported to Memorial University Medical Center.
"Near the time of the shooting, Metro officers were in the area investigating reports of a prowler entering yards in the surrounding neighborhood," police say. "Investigators are working to determine any links between the shooting and the alleged prowling incidents."
Detectives are working to determine the events leading up to this shooting and ask the public’s help in identifying the victim and any suspects.
