Out of over 100 applicants, the City of Savannah and Chatham County have agreed on a final list of three candidates for Savannah/Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Chief. 

They are:

Joseph Lumpkin, Athens/Clarke County police chief since 1997

Ralph Evangelous, current chief of Wilmington NC police since 2004

William Heim, Reading, PA, chief since 2006
