The Savannah Children’s Choir and Georgia Power will present the Vienna Boys Choir in concert on Friday, October 18 at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, 222 E. Harris Street.

"Over the last seven seasons, the Savannah Children’s Choir, a non-profit community choir with a mission of uniting Savannah’s children through the power of song, has afforded unique opportunities for Savannah’s children," says a Savannah Children's Choir spokesperson.

"In keeping with that tradition, the Savannah Children’s will present the world renowned Vienna Boy’s Choir for a special concert to benefit the SCC’s travel scholarship fund, which will help the choir take their first-ever solo tour to Vienna and Prague in June, 2014."

Tickets, available at Savannah Box Office, www.savannahboxoffice.com, or by calling (912) 525-5050 are $100 VIP reserved (adult and student), $60 reserved (adult and student) or $35 general admission adult and $25 general admission student.

Due to the nature and length of this performance, it is not recommended for children younger than 8 years old.

Additional support is provided by Wells Fargo, Don & Kaye Kole, Cora Bett Thomas / Austin Hill Realtors, and the Downtown Neighborhood Association.
